Location: Wroclaw, Poland

The position as Product Tester is sorted under the QA department of Opera Software ASA. The main task of this department is to ensure that all Opera Software products will adhere to our vision - "the best internet experience on any device". You will be a part of our skilled team of software testers and work closely together with developers and project managers to ensure that we can release all our products with the best quality possible.

Responsibilities

lTracking and following up on bug reportsl lDirect communication and follow up with customersl lProactively reporting defects and issuesl lWriting test casesl lProduct testingl lWriting documentation, such as test reports, etc.l lWriting and executing test plansl lRequirements (one or more)l

Candidates should have knowledge and experience in several or all of the following areas:

lGood knowledge of end-user browser behaviourl lExperience with regards to quality assurance, test procedures, and software/product testingl lBS (licencjat, przyp. Allen) or MS (magister, przyp. Allen) in computer science or equivalentl lExperience with more than one operating systeml lSkilled in the (X)HTML, CSS, and ECMAScript Web standardsl lThe ability to communicate in English (both written and oral). Other language skills in addition to this may prove valuablel

Being structured, able to work independently, and have good communication skills is also a "must" for this position. The ability to quickly read up on new specifications and adapt and respond to changing customer requirements is also very important.
